Birmingham Commonwealth Games citing Covid-19 concerns.

Hockey India President Gyanandro Nighobham, communicated the federation decision to Indian Olympics Association president Narinder Batra in a letter.

India on October 5, 2021 pulled out of next year’s Birmingham commonwealth Games Hokey competition, citing covid-19 concerns and UK’s discriminatory quarantine rules for travels from the country day after England’s withdrawal from the junior men’s world cup in Bhubaneshwar over similar reason.

The commonwealth nations generally known as the commonwealth is a political association of 54 members states all of the which are former territories of the earth wild.

In clear words India have mentioned it United Kingdom is discriminating and it would better to not continue in commonwealth games 2022 and pulled out their terms.

As we know commonwealth is a widely know as political arena for UK and it’s very important for UK to organize commonwealth games and commonwealth nations are those nations, which were ruled by UK once and all the colonies once come together and organized commonwealth games and when at this time. India is pulling out openly by saying discrimination quarantine rules for the athletes could be a “Diplomatic Diester” for UK.

But why India took such a bold step?

As India openly said they will not tolerate discriminatory behavior regarding quarantine for the Indian athletes, when UK uploaded a list regarding protocol for commonwealth games 2022, they have not mentioned, India, athletes Africa in the list, where Quarantine will be not necessary if they have taken Two doses of vaccination, in opposite they initiated a report and mentioned those who have to be quarantine for 10 days and will be free if they will come out negative. But here twist is that vaccine they are not approving in their country is originally have been generated from their lab Aster xenia and India have taken the formula and giving vaccine as name of Covidsheld. So, it is totally reflecting discrimination and being unfair for the players.

At the same time many development countries have approved India vaccines and have not created any issues regarding our travelling. But there is an interesting twist which is worth mentioning, when UK incited discrimination compulsory quarantine for Indian athletes, Indian Immediately implemented same rules for the Men’s hockey junior world cup which game is being held in 2021 in Bhubaneshwar and they withdraw their names from by explaining they don’t want to be in quarantine for 10 days.

In all this all we can see how hypocrite they can be. If All Athletes will pull out their names from Commonwealth games 2022 and other visitors will boycott this hypocrisy. UK will face Billions of dollar loss out of it, and it will be not look good at the image because there will more countries who will pull out their name by boycotting UK Commonwealth games. It not only became about discrimination it also makes us things India is one of leading and development country why would they tolerate such kind of behavior, because it clearly reflects, they are creating unfair choices just to make us annoyed.

Maybe it's difficult to remain happy forever when you know things are very ghastly around you. Everyday you wake up and interrogate yourself that why I am here! Why it should be me, but instead of asking why! We should try to concentrate on how we can overcome and therefore, I always reminisce, everyone,  there is nothing  impossible if you want it to make it possible, but why do I always get let down by the things I do or where I stand?
