Are you a Feminist!

 

Yes, I am a feminist, It's a very strong word, whenever someone spells out these 5 words either we get afraid or we take it as a joke, but why! Why do we get so afraid when someone calls out them feminists. Is there something wrong to be a feminist? but before moving head, we must clear out the point feminist. 

feminist -A feminist is someone who supports equal rights for women. ... If you believe that women should have the same political, social, and economic rights as men, you are a feminist.

While reading this do we need something to be afraid of, I think the answer would be No.

Being a social media content creator I saw some posts about fake feminism, "she is a feminist" as like it is a bad thing to be a feminist. If you are standing up for your right how it can be wrong.

But I might have a genuine answer to this question!

During social and digital raises people might have forgotten where they need to control themselves whenever they post or reveal themselves on social media. Yeah! Social media is a platform where you can post or share your thoughts about anything, it could be political, ethical or much more but whenever you post, post it with a sense. But somehow some idiots forgot how to use social media, we have witnessed someone heartbreaking videos and posts where not only men but women have used their rights inappropriately. Can we remember that video that went viral a few months ago where a woman was slapping men just because he stopped the car near her when she was crossing the road, and afterwards she lied about that the driver first hit her then she took further action to take control? There are much more idiots like her and daily this faltu ki feminism is soaring. 

But some exceptions have proved that they can do a lot better in society and can be real feminists. 

Some have worked hard and have created differences in society and have become a new example for everyone who is struggling to reach out.

Like Priyanka Chopra, Marry Kom, Malala Yousafzai,  These are the women's who have crossed the boundaries and have proved themselves to be real feminists by their good deeds for the community.

Using your power wisely will not harm you. But if you will take advantage of it you will have to pay a huge price for it.
